Three perspectives
Explore image details and position meanings, then organize your own understanding.
When to use
For cultural learning, reviewing a present situation, and recording your own thoughts.
Reading boundaries
Positions offer reading perspectives; decisions still require your information and verification.
Steps and order
Choose a layout and reading mode. Shuffle, optionally cut, and draw, place, and reveal in position order. The order and orientation stay fixed for this round.
Reading path
Observe individual cards, then compare positions, neighbors, or a selected path. Separate images, references, and personal associations before saving your own understanding.
Worked practice
Fixed teaching example: I want to adjust a study routine that keeps being interrupted. These are demonstration cards, not a random round: 1. What I am facing → High Priestess: Some things go unsaid for now, left to sit inside a while longer.; 2. What else to notice → Chariot: There is no shortage of force; what it needs is one direction.; 3. What I can try → Hanged Man: Not deciding yet is also a way of handling it.. Describe the visible image at each position, then separate the actual causes of interruption, adjustable conditions and personal associations. Journal: This week I will reserve one uninterrupted twenty-minute practice, then check what actually happened. Cross out associations that do not fit. Return to the saved entry to review whether the arrangement worked.
Save and revisit
After saving, return to add how you thought then, what you did, and what you understand now.
