Lenormand spreads: one to 36 cards

One card keeps attention on one image. With three cards, compare the first pair, then the second pair, before considering the whole. Five form a line, while nine form a three-by-three square. More cards require more attention; they do not make an answer more reliable.

These guides describe Yi’s existing practice. The CardMira table currently offers one or three cards; larger spreads are covered here as learning material.

Choose the scope first

Begin a Grand Tableau with one focus

The 36-card Grand Tableau uses four rows of eight, then four cards centered below. Select a focus card before exploring neighbors, rows, columns, corners, center or houses. A house is a position in the layout. Comparing its image with the card there remains a reflection exercise.

Finish with one useful sentence

Choose just two cards that matter to you; you do not need a story for every combination. Note the connection they bring to mind and look for real evidence. Keep one observation and one question to check. Changing languages or returning preserves the order; only a new session reshuffles.
